Daily Schedule

Older Toddler/Preschooler

This schedule is meant to give you an idea of your child’s day. Actual times and activities may vary depending on time of the year, weather, age and temperament of the children. Age appropriate activities are scheduled with the flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of each individual child and their various ages.

7:30 - 9:00  drop-offs, welcome children, free-play activities
8:45 - 9:30  breakfast, clean-up/wash-up    
9:30 - 9:50 circle-time (stories, songs, preschool review, show & tell)
9:50 - 10:30  preschool worksheets, arts and crafts, and/or music
10:30 - 11:30  outside play-time with gross-motor skills emphasis
11:30 – 12:00  manipulative and computer center choices
12:00 - 1:00  lunch time, clean-up/wash-up, and get on mats
1:00 - 3:00  rest-time and/or quiet-time
3:00 - 3:30  afternoon snack, clean-up/wash-up
3:30 - 4:30  outside play (depending on season)
4:30 - 5:00  science and/or match activities
5:00 – 6:00  pick-ups & free-play choice activities

 

Infant/Young Toddler

Throughout each day we practice on reaching, grasping, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, climbing, throwing, catching, kicking, cooing and talking; which ever developmental stage your child happens to be in at the time. For a younger child still taking three naps a day, a third nap can be incorporated into their late afternoon schedule.

7:30 - 9:00  drop-offs, welcome children, free-play activities
8:45 - 9:30  breakfast, clean-up/wash-up
9:30 - 10:30  naptime (depending on age), story-time, arts and crafts, various learning toys. Music, song & dance
10:30 - 11:30  outside play-time
11:30 - 12:00  manipulative and table toys center choices
12:00 - 1:00  lunch time, clean-up/wash-up, nestle into cribs
1:00 - 3:00  rest-time and/or quiet-time
3:00 - 3:30  afternoon snack, clean-up/wash-up
3:30 - 4:30  outside Play (depending on season)
4:30 - 5:00  block and/or dramatic play 
5:00 – 6:00  pick-ups & free-play choice activities

 

Infant

7:30am - 6:00pm cuddles, love, lots of affection, eat, poop, and sleep.

The Daily News - Baby Sheets

For infants 18 months and younger, parents receive a daily baby sheet, listing when your child was given a bottle (when applicable), what they ate and drank, when diapers were changed and what it was, their nap schedule, as well as any other pertinent information.
